The Jamie Larcombe Centre is a $15 million project to establish a veterans’ mental health facility at Glenside Health Services Campus.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) are called for membership of the Governing Committee of the Partnerships Hub at the Jamie Larcombe Centre.
The Partnerships Hub will provide support for veterans and their families who are experiencing post-traumatic stress. Access to information, people and services, including ex-service organisations (ESO), will be provided to support their individual needs.
The Hub will include:
• A meeting space that can be adjusted to meet varying group sizes and activities
• Flexible work spaces
• Display space
• A small amenities and kitchen facility
The purpose of the Governing Committee is to coordinate activities at the Hub and ensure the Hub operates to support the needs of the veteran community. The Governing Committee will be intimately involved in coordinating use of the available facilities at the Hub by veterans, families, and ESOs. The Governing Committee will be accountable to the Director, Veterans SA.
The Governing Committee is a voluntary committee and will comprise of 7 members (not including a chair person) with additional ex-officio representation from SA Health and the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network.
EOIs are now sought from members of the veteran community and ESO representatives who wish to be members of the Partnerships Hub Governing Committee.
