Thank you to Australia for embracing Light Up The Dawn with such respect and magnitude. We were separate but united to remember generations of service, sacrifice and the servicewomen and servicemen serving in our name now.

As a result of restrictions to this year’s formal ANZAC Day commemorations the RSL encouraged people to Light Up the Dawn and remember and pay respects from home. This took several forms including from homes, the end of driveways or a balcony. People spread the word and took it to their neighbourhoods www.rslanzacspirit.com.au, #LightUpTheDawn
