Due to the imminent departure of Mr Mark Reidy from RSL-SA, we have received a number of queries from members and those connected with RSL Active regarding the future of the program. RSL Active has not ceased.
RSL Active was launched in 2016 to provide opportunities for anybody who has served in the ADF and their families to participate in healthy physical activities which also contribute to the mental wellbeing of those individuals.
RSL Active has taken on several forms including cycling, running, art classes, fishing, kayaking and motor sports.
A South Australian initiative, RSL Active is now operating in other states too!
No RSL Active activities will be affected by current circumstances.
Contact Officers for each activity are:
- Cycling – TBA
- Running – Tim Hanna; firstname.lastname@example.org
- Art group – Corey Starkey; email@example.com
- Fishing – Justin Brown; firstname.lastname@example.org
- Kayaking – TBA
- Motor sports – email@example.com
So, if you haven’t joined one of these groups, there is plenty to get involved with! What are you waiting for?
