Anzac On Torrens


RSL SA is pleased to announce the highly anticipated Anzac on Torrens is going ahead on Anzac Day. This traditional event is an opportunity to catch up with mates and enjoy a yarn, refreshments, and food. It will conform to a COVID Safe Plan, with QR code/manual check-in, gathering and spacing controls.

Time: 9.00 am – 1.00 pm. Open to veterans, families, serving ADF. Entry from Victoria Drive.

Torrens Parade Ground and the Drill Hall will be utilised and will offer beer, mixed drinks, soft drink, water, BBQ sausages, pies and pasties for purchase and the traditional Two-Up School – 11:30 to 12:30 in the Drill Hall.

Vili’s Family Bakery are once again feeding our veterans and supporters of the RSL SA’s ANZAC on Torrens event.  Come an enjoy one of their famous Aussie Beef Pies or Flaky Pastry Pasties between 9.00 am – 1.00 pm at Torrens Parade Ground.

We would like to acknowledge the support that St John Ambulance SA provide our veterans and the public at the ANZAC on Torrens event. Their presence at the event assures all are in safe hands in the event of a medical emergency. They will be located in the Memorial Hall at the Torrens Training Depot at the ANZAC on Torrens event.

The ARVL Program offers emergency housing for homeless veterans or those at risk of homelessness. RSL Care SA has one bedroom units located in Sturt.

RAA is proud to support the Returned & Services League of Australia (SA Branch) and the vital work it does for our state’s returned service men and women. As a fellow century-old organisation that exists to support South Australians, we feel a great synergy with RSL SA’s key pillars of advocacy, services, mateship, commemoration and sustainability. Defence Health

Defence Health support the families of those who defend our country. And care for those who once served. They are also here for their supporters – the parents, brothers and sisters who are part of the Defence community too. Through supply of drinking water Defence Health will be keeping all veterans, and their guests hydrated at the ANZAC on Torrens event.
