Bay Road was renamed Anzac Highway to acknowledge service, sacrifice and remembrance of The Great War. From Keswick to Glenelg the centre median strip is deemed a memorial section and cannot be used for business signage, garage sale signs or unauthorised gatherings or purposes.
We sadly report the sudden passing of Major Jeff Ayles (Ret). A noted soldier with active service tours in S E Asia; well respected in the military community; long-time volunteer with the Army Museum of South Australia; Two Up Master at the Torrens Parade Ground on Anzac Days.
