If you are considering submitting a claim to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) for an injury, illness, benefit or entitlement, we recommend that you use a qualified advocacy service to help the claims process.

How do I find a qualified Advocate?

Is this Service free?
Yes, our services are free of charge. You are not required to be a member of the RSL.
What’s happening with my claim?
First place to check is your DVA portal. If you are not able to see any details here but have received advice from your RSL Advocate that your claim has been submitted, please contact our Office on (08) 8100 7300 or email veteransservices@rslsa.org.au.
If you do see your claim within the DVA portal, you can email DVA and ask for a status update on your claim at any time. Provide your Claim Number and name and ask for an update on the status of your claim by emailing: enquiries@dva.gov.au
