RSL MEAO SCOPING STUDY
Late last year, RSL Australia announced a ground-breaking initiative to assess the impacts on Australian veterans of service in our armed forces between 2002 and 2021, particularly in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The RSL has already received its first progress report from the research consortium that shows the project is progressing well and is on time. More information.

His Majesty King Charles the Third
His Majesty King Charles III has accepted patronage of the Returned & Services League of Australia (RSL). This continues the RSL’s long association with the monarchy, following on from the more than 70-year patronage of the League by the King’s mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.

REMEMBRANCE DAY 2024
11th November marks the anniversary of the Armistice which brought an end to The Great War of 1914 - 1918. November is a significant month for the RSL and includes Remembrance Day commemorations and the RSL Poppy Appeal.
The 2024 Remembrance Day was on Monday 11th November. Services were conducted in regional and metropolitan areas. Each one special in its own way.
TARA BELTON APPOINTED CEO
We are pleased to announce the official appointment of Tara Belton as our new Chief Executive Officer of RSL SA/NT & Broken Hill, acknowledging her exemplary leadership in recent months as acting CEO and her inspiring commitment to driving the RSL’s mission forward.
7RAR FAREWELL TO ADELAIDE 26/10/24
The 7th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment farewelled South Australia with a formal parade at Torrens Parade Ground on Saturday 26 October.
ADELAIDE FOOTBALL CLUB DONATION
Adelaide Football Club gifted more than $50,000 to the RSL ($38,000 to RSL SA) from the sale and auction of its 2024 Anzac Guernsey. AFC launched its first commemorative Anzac Guernsey in April this year and committed to donating part proceeds from the sale of the guernseys to the RSL Anzac Appeal.
