TORRENS PARADE GROUND ACCESS
Torrens Parade Ground will shortly be used by Adelaide Writers' Week organisers, preparing for the March 2025 event. The facility managers advise that there will be limited access onto the site and restricted car parking.
RSL SA recommends avoiding unnecessary visits or expecting regular access conditions until the event is over.

His Majesty King Charles the Third
His Majesty King Charles III has accepted patronage of the Returned & Services League of Australia (RSL). This continues the RSL’s long association with the monarchy, following on from the more than 70-year patronage of the League by the King’s mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.

RSL SUB-BRANCH CONSTITUTION REVIEW
By-Law N1 is the template that RSL SA/NT and Broken Hill Sub-Branches will use as their Constitution, once passed at the 2025 Annual Sub-Branch Conference, replacing the current By-Law 8: Model Rules for Sub-Branches. This document is important for professional, consistent Sub-Branch operations and to position them with current, proper management practices.
REMEMBRANCE DAY 2024
11th November marks the anniversary of the Armistice which brought an end to The Great War of 1914 - 1918. November is a significant month for the RSL and includes Remembrance Day commemorations and the RSL Poppy Appeal.
The 2024 Remembrance Day was on Monday 11th November. Services were conducted in regional and metropolitan areas. Each one special in its own way.
MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID
Donation Alert: Our friends Narelle and Matt from Frontline Mental Health - Building Resilient People have blown us away with a pledge! For every 2 day Mental Health First Aid group workshop booked during Nov, Dec and Jan, $150.00 will be donated to our RSL Reach Out Wellbeing Program!
