ABORIGINAL VETERANS COMMEMORATION 31/5/24
Aboriginal Veterans SA invites veterans, families and the public to attend the annual service on the Friday of Reconciliation Week. Held at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander War Memorial, Victoria Drive, Adelaide at 10:30am.
PETER BADCOE VC ANZAC MEDAL WINNERS
Major Peter Badcoe was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross for valour for several actions during the Vietnam War. The Peter Badcoe VC Anzac Round Medal is presented to the footballer who is judged as best displaying the Anzac Spirit during the AFL Anzac Round Match.

7RAR FAREWELL TO ADELAIDE 26/10/24
7th Battalion, Royal Australia Regiment will conduct a farewell parade at the Torrens Parade Ground on Saturday 26th October 2024. Parade ground access will be restricted on 25th and 26th October. Further details when advised.

GRAVE DEDICATIONS WW1 VETERANS
On 19 and 21 March 2024, Aboriginal Veterans SA dedicated the previously unmarked graves of two First World War veterans, Private Alick Wright of the 10th Battalion in Cleve, and Trooper Harry Peel of the 3rd Light Horse Regiment in Port Augusta.

SA PUBLIC HOLIDAY BILL RESOLUTION
The RSL State President and the state government have achieved a satisfactory resolution resulting from veteran and public misunderstandings arising from reporting on the SA Public Holidays Bill 2023.
