7th Battalion, Royal Australia Regiment will conduct a farewell parade at the Torrens Parade Ground on Saturday 26th October 2024. Parade ground access will be restricted on 25th and 26th October. Further details when advised.

RSL Members in South Australia, Northern Territory and Broken Hill have been emailed an update from the State President Dave Petersen. The message addresses several topics.

On 19 and 21 March 2024, Aboriginal Veterans SA dedicated the previously unmarked graves of two First World War veterans, Private Alick Wright of the 10th Battalion in Cleve, and Trooper Harry Peel of the 3rd Light Horse Regiment in Port Augusta.

The RSL State President and the state government have achieved a satisfactory resolution resulting from veteran and public misunderstandings arising from reporting on the SA Public Holidays Bill 2023.

On Friday 10 November, Aboriginal Veterans SA hosted a service to mark the 10th anniversary of the dedication of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander War Memorial by the then Governor-General.
The 11am service was at the Torrens Parade Ground, Adelaide.

The RSL has called on the Federal Government to increase defence spending and ensure that our nation’s Defence Forces are balanced and appropriate for the current unstable strategic environment in our region.

On Saturday 30th September 2023 the 7th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment conducted a ceremonial Iraq Theatre Honour Parade at the Torrens Parade Ground, Adelaide.

Veterans, invited guests and the public viewed the unique ceremony.
