BY-laws APPROVED AT ASBC 2025

By-Laws that were enacted by the State Board pending member approval were proposed, seconded and carried at the 2025 Annual Sub-Branch Conference on 29/6/25. Sub-Branch committees and members were invited to review and offer constructive recommendations.  This feedback was considered and where appropriate the input was incorporated into the final proposals.

By-Law N1 is the template that RSL SA/NT and Broken Hill Sub-Branches will use as their Constitution, replacing the previous By-Law 8: Model Rules for Sub-Branches. This document is important for professional, consistent Sub-Branch operations and to position them with current, proper management practices.

By-Law N3 Membership:  An omission was made when amalgamating previous By-Laws into this one, whereby it is NOT clearly stated that Affiliates cannot vote for positions of President or Vice President within a Sub-Branch.

By-Law 5 Regions: The By-Law Working Group has recently discussed and agreed to the renaming of Region F3 from that of “Victoria”, to “Upper South East”.
