ABORIGINAL VETERANS COMMEMORATION 31/5/24

Aboriginal Veterans SA hosted a successful commemoration with several hundred attendees - veterans, families and the public during Reconciliation Week. Held at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander War Memorial, Victoria Drive, Adelaide at on Friday 31st May.

The keynote address was given by Sergeant Roger Morris, Australian Army. A special tribute was paid to the late Bill Hignett OAM by his friend Frank Lampard OAM.

Australian Army Cadets from 47 ACU were the ceremonial catafalque party and flag party. The Australian Defence Force was well represented by all three services.
