ADELAIDE FOOTBALL CLUB DONATION

Adelaide Football Club gifted more than $50,000 to the RSL ($38,000 to RSL SA) from the sale and auction of its 2024 Anzac Guernsey. AFC launched its first commemorative Anzac Guernsey in April this year and committed to donating part proceeds from the sale of the guernseys to the RSL Anzac Appeal. RSL SA CEO Tara Belton said the organisation was grateful for the donation, which would be put towards the new Reach Out program. 

“The wellbeing of our Veterans has reached a crucial point here in SA, and the RSL has answered the call with its newest wellbeing program, RSL Reach Out. The funds that have been raised by this initiative will be attributed to that program, ensuring we continue to assist Veterans and their families to flourish and thrive as they navigate life after military service.
