GRAVE DEDICATIONS WW1 VETERANS

On 19 and 21 March, Aboriginal Veterans SA dedicated the previously unmarked graves of two First World War veterans, Private Alick Wright of the 10th Battalion in Cleve https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=802320618599755&set=pcb.802320678599749, and Trooper Harry Peel of the 3rd Light Horse Regiment in Port Augusta. Harry Peel was also a well-known police tracker working out of Port Pirie both before and after his service in the First World War.

Descendants, veterans and members of the local communities attended.

Lest we forget.
