FOR LOVE OF COUNTRY BOOK

FOR LOVE OF COUNTRY. On 3rd June 2022 Ian Smith, Co-Chair of Aboriginal Veterans South Australia, launched the book he authored about Aboriginal men and women from South Australia who have served in the Australian Defence Force since Federation. This took place in the Drill Hall at Torrens Parade Ground before Her Excellency the Governor and a large audience.

This impressive volume is A4 size and contains photographs and accurate accounts of the military service given to the nation and the world. To purchase a copy of the book email Ian Smith at ian@provostrws.com, advising how many copies you would like (at $55/copy), if you wish to collect copies you have ordered from the RSL State Branch office at the Torrens Parade Ground then Ian will advise you when the books are ready for collection or you may have book(s) delivered. Additional charge for delivery depending on the number of books ordered (minimum of $15). You will be sent an invoice with various payment options, and once the invoice is paid the books will be printed and should be available for pickup or despatched within two to three weeks. The books cannot be purchased at RSL SA and need to be pre-ordered and paid to the author.

The proceeds from book sales go to support the work of Aboriginal Veterans SA, particularly marking currently unmarked graves of Aboriginal veterans right around the state.

Book launch at Torrens Training Depot 3/6/2022
